(Redirected from Liaquat-Nehru Pact)
The Liaquat–Nehru Pact was signed by Pakistan's Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan and Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in New Delhi
on April 8, 1950. The pact was the outcome of six days of talks between
the two Prime Ministers in Delhi. It sought to guarantee the rights of
minorities in both countries after the Partition of India and avert another war between them.
